Welcome to the science spot!
Ms. Koch
Ms. Koch

 

Ms. Koch is the Curriculum Integration Coordinator at our magnet school.  She has a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers University in New Jersey and a Masters Degree in Education from Seton Hall University.  Ms. Koch has worked in the education field for the past 15 years, most recently with the University of Minnesota as the director of education at The Raptor Center.


In her free time Ms. Koch is an avid naturalist; she is a Minnesota Master Naturalist and was one of the programs first instructors during the pilot year of the program.  Ms. Koch enjoys hiking and bird watching and plans to spend many hours birding in our school nature area.  Ms. Koch lives in Plymouth with her family and Buddy the Springer Spaniel.  Check out our nature area website to see pictures Ms. Koch took this summer. 

Mrs. Rahmig our science lab education support professional will be back this year and is looking forward to another year filled with science.    

Science Spot Updates  

The Monarchs are back- keep your eyes out for these beautiful butterflies! Please contact me by email if you are collecting larvae the last week of July or the first week of August we would like to add them to our late August breeding program.
