Weaver Lake School Nature Area
birdpics6-08_016
Welcome to the nature area

Students and teachers in every class will use the Weaver Lake School nature area as a part of our magnet schools value-added curriculum.  The nature area is located directly behind the school and continues on through the Three Rivers Park district property.  There are many miles of trails and paths to explore.  Check out the image gallery below for pictures of flora (plants) and fauna (animals) found in the nature area.  If you are interested in volunteering to work with a class or grade level, and share your love of nature, please contact Lisa Koch our Curriculum Integration Coordinator at kochl@district279.org.  Check back soon for updates on what each grade level is doing in our natural area.
