Alex Kreidler began playing adapted athletics in 7th grade and was the Orioles third baseman that year. The following season Alex moved to the mound and has been there ever since. Over the past five years Alex has gone on to become the winningest pitcher in the history of CI-adapted softball. Last week, Alex earned his 50th career-pitching win. He has added 5 more wins to his total this week and his career pitching record stands at 55-12-1. In addition to his amazing win total, Alex has yet to give up a walk this season. The first place Orioles have a 10-1 record this season.
Besides his fantastic softball accomplishments, Alex is a three-sport athlete, whose has earned 14-varsity letters and has been named all-conference 11 times. He is a member of the 100-Goal club for adapted floor hockey. Outside of sports, Alex has contributed over 1,000 hours of community service. Earlier this month Alex was one of 500 students recognized nationwide to receive a Presidential Gold-Star Volunteer Service Award.
Last week Alex was selected as a Star-Tribune Prep Athlete of the week and today Alex was voted the Aspire Beverage’s Athlete of the Week. Congratulations on your accomplishments Alex!
